Introduction
A website of the reflective and creative work of the Theravada Buddhist monk Ajahn Kalyano.
Opening the sky
The path to liberation is one of cultivating the four foundations of mindfulness, bringing the body, feeling, mind and thought together into a single integrated experience.
We can use meditation, and Dhamma contemplation through art and poetry, to bring thought and feeling together. We can see how this opens the mind into space, like opening the sky, discovering the spiritual dimension. Here we can rediscover ourselves seeing our true relationship to the world around us.
The Website
As well as traditional Dhamma teachings – artistic material and writings are combined with the aim of bringing all aspects of the spiritual path, head and heart, together into a single vision and to encourage you to use your own creativity on the path.
New to the whole thing? We recommend reading The Thread and/or browsing The Buddhist ABC in Talks.
